A Blog in Need of Inspection!

I really hate trying to describe my blog. There are no consistent topics from post to post. It is about pretty much everything. I hope you find it enjoyable! Could I please get some feedback as to what would be best to describe the blog? I wind up having problems with brief descriptions.

Hi: I LOVE your byline. really nice. I would advise more pictures...always good for my eyes when they tend to stray...

Any advice on how to get the interesting, colorful ads? I have adsense but it's just the boring links on the sidebar. I really like your eye-catching ones but have no idea how to get them....

If you hate explaining what your blog is, it's because you don't know what is about yourself. Here is what I would do. Write a paragraph about what your site is. Then reduce it to two sentences, then one, and then reduce to just four words max. Now you have a tag line that you can add to site, and now it will easy for you to explain what your site is about.
