Putting Audio On a Blog

Hi,

I have a music blog and I want to place music in my posts which people can listen to after reading my post.

The problem I have is that I don't know how to add the right code to my blog so that I can add music.

If you look at my blog you will see that I have a small one-click flash audio player on it at the moment, but the truth is I have just stolen the code, I know this is not right and that's why I am trying to learn to do it myself.

I want to be able to edit the players color and size. I would also be interested if anyone knows where to host the original files so that I don't have to use someone ells links and file hosts.

I have had a look and I don't think this is what I am looking for. I don't want to use a 3rd-party app as they are normally un-editabile and don't fit in with the site, they also have to be place in a widget which I cant then add to my written post's.

I have been looking at the code I "stole" and it is using flash, is there a standard code I can use and then edit it to fit in with my blog theme?

I haven't used Blogger in ages. I'll have to setup a test blog over there and see if one is able to embed a flash player.

I have had a looked at all your suggestions and thanks for them.

I want to use 'Thur Broeders' wordpress plug-in for blogger at the link provided but I cant find free hosting the works...

I have tried Tripod and Batcave but cant get the player to work,

Any suggestions?

ME AGAIN!!!!!!

I have had a look on the net and have found this site : http://www.blogcastone.net/

its makes the code and hosts the flash files so it works well for me...

Thanks again for all your help, I am going to still try and host my own files, but this works great for know

To add an audio clip to your blogger profile see.

You can also add audio to your blog using AudioBlog.com

Many people absolutely detest webpages & blogs that start playing music
as soon as  the page loads and it slows down page loading time, but to add a  music file.

I kind of find it annoying when I visit sites that suddenly plays music. Just my opinion by the way
