You have to give to receive...or at least you SHOULD :)

I was really thrilled to find this forum, because I find that blogspot (where I blog) has a set-up that makes it difficult to connect with other bloggers.

However, it is disappointing to see so many people are here just to virtually scream LOOK AT MY BLOG PLEASE and not contribute. Everyone writing a blog wants attention, or they wouldn't be writing something for the public to access, but it would be nice to see more people giving others feedback and not blatantly whining for attention. If we are all asking to be looked at at the same time, nobody is left to do the looking.

If you read this, please consider taking a moment to go through the posts and give others some feedback/responses while asking nothing in return. Your link can be in the signature of every post, and that's all you should really need.

haha that's so true... i also have gotten a lot of personal messages saying things like "hi, i clicked on all of your ads. come click on mine!"

now... when i get a message like that, i know that person didn't actually (or even visit!) my blog... i don't have any ads! i hate getting messages that are only trying to get me to come visit them!

I agree with EVERYONE above.  And it's the worst when people post titles like I'll follow you if you follow me...  AHH!  It should only be if you like the blog, not if someone else agreed to follow you too!  Bah!  Oh well!  At least there are some good blogger/forum posters out there!

I agree totally.  I just joined this site, and while of COURSE I want traffic to my own blog, I'm very interested in being very active in reading others' as well

I spent a little time on each of the links listed in this thread, and they were all set up very well.  My own personal tastes kept me on hellocookie's blog for quite a while, as I am very interested in the arts & your blog seems to be centered on that.  Very interesting.

today people follow just to get follow back so it`s really weird, i also see thise people who following my blogs just because they want me to follow back even if they dont say it pretty obvious.

I love this forum because everyone has such a wide range of blogs.  It's so interesting to see what everyone has to say, the internet has made blogging so easy and so accessible.  So many people have such a great voice and it's awesome to read about their stories, their art, their opinions etc.  Blogging is love!  lol
