Focus on the following things to choose a good domain name:

1. Including Savvy Keywords in your domain.
2. Uniqueness.
3. Focusing on .com name rather on .net or .org or so
4. The shorter, the better
5. Concentrate on easy-to-spell name.
6. Do not use hyphenated name
7. Be aware of copyright issues

I really agreed with your advise on choosing a domain name. like you have said, a short and interesting name will be very good but you need to know that using '2' for 'to' and 'u' for 'you' and some other shortenings should be avoided when choosing a domain name. Please read more www.birdshunt.com

Hi. I agree with all of the tips except buying only dot com domains. I've seen plenty of dot net domain names on the first page on google. The important thing is to have your keyword in your domain name.
