I have never coded a layout before and I'm taking a whack at it, but I'm having a problem putting the navigation bar directly to the right of my logo.

If anyone could help me,then you are welcom.

you can set the navigation bar to the right using margin, padding, line spacing...these r the attributes which help to adjust spacing and margins to set the navigation bar properly with logo...

I recommend Google for the CSS codes.. There are lot of CSS codes in Google for center and lot more.. :)

Just put the logo in a div (or class), and the navbar in a div (or class), and float them both left (or right) and set the margin and padding respectively. CSS is a fickle lady, and her rules must be obeyed. I agree with the Blue Dragon. Google for the code. If you don't understand how simple CSS works then you're going to have to learn at some point and Google is a great place to start.
