NO COMMERCIAL LINKS, PLEASE !

Hi all,

Lately we notice more and more commercial links in topics and signatures.
We said it before: commercial links, links to Online Shop, etc. ... are NOT allowed here.

We are really fed up, you know. So from now on, without any further warning, members using commercial links will be instantly removed and/or banned!

The Only Thing I Am Doing Nowadays Is Deleting/Banning New Members and Telling (Almost) Everybody Else NOT To Link To Commercial Sites.

What's The Fun In That?

I strongly agree on this.! Commercial links could destroy this good forum if its over done and posted all over the place.. Lets stop this..

I am sorry but I have seen many others placing 2/3 links in signature but when I palce my website link (which does not say shpe here.. and visit hear.. blah. blah..), thats just my company link, You removed it.

I think most of the forums keep signature links and allow users to put a single link of their website. I don't say affiliate link, adult and selling pinch with purely promotional purpose should be allowed but at least company link should allowed.

otherwise..What is the meaning of keeping Signature link section. One More thng but don't take me in critisizing tone but many seo and Internet marketing people come here for signature link Lets be honest) and they share some valuable post also with that they contribute to this forum but if you can not provide a single signature link you are missing Visitors and members. You yourself keeping them out of your community.

I think you(Mods) should think about it because till today I have contributed and share my knowledge honestly but now if there is no signature link than there is no motivation for me..
Why should I spend time, my thoughts and knowledge at such place where I m not getting a single back link..

As a seo, I feel demotivated from this forum and may be many. Either allow a single signature link (atlest) to motivate your members for their valuable contribution or just disable signature link option for all, but don't do this partiality.

I don't care If you ban me but the truth is truth, even I myself won't come again if you can not provide a single signature link. I don't think so other big forums are just made that they provide signature link to motivate their members>

I am fairly new here, on my sig you will see two links, one to my blog, one to my company (which also has blogs/articles on it). Would you mods say this is unacceptable? My .com has an article section and is a private school that educates students, yes you have to pay tuition if you go to the school but not to read the articles and blogs. We are not in the business of spamming and putting ads up. Funny thing is the blogspot link, which is a link to a very poorly done blog (which im working on, hence my presence here) actually has ads on it. Anyways, just trying to clear it up. thanks!
