Your blog doesnt warrant any criticism at all.. I think it is very unique and your style of writing is great too. I like your use of pictures, your personalized signature at the bottom of your posts, and the topics too (I aint no country music fan either, and the country music in Mexico is not any better!!)
But your question about getting Followers... well, you need to add the follower button. Somewhere in design view..
