I guess that makes me the second. Like Thur, I'm not criticizing you directly, as you are merely capitalizing on current trends. Fair enough.
My problem is with the current state of blogging. Thur and I have been at this game for a very long time. I would suspect we were blogging when most of the members of this forum were still in diapers. Back then blogging was awesome. People kept blogs (diaries) to document not only their personal thoughts on a variety of topics but to chronicle their own experiences.
What do we see today? A new generation of bloggers who don't know jacksh*t about what blogging really means. Their primary concern is SEO, PageRank, making money and other such tripe.
I've seen some fairly good blogs submitted to this forum. Unfortunately I've also seen a lot of crap.
