What methods are you adopting to improve SERP for your main keywords & the success rate & time frame.

I do concentrate on keyword density,link building with the keyword as anchor text from relevant sites.I never bother about nofollow or dofollow as I'm not worried about PR.

Share your views & experience her so that we could cumulatively develop our SERP. :)

Having quality content (fresh, interesting and unique) together with creating inbound links (blog commenting, article submission, social bookmarking, etc.) gives you higher chances to get into top positions.

I usually put keywords on my url, because these kinds of url ranks high on search engine and easier to optimize.

To increase PR get back links from particular anchor text with the help of article, directory submission and using on page optimization technique. You will see the result next 20 to 30 days that your sites is boosting in SERP.  :)

Yes keyword is the main point to improve SERP.This comes under on-site optimization.And link building from reputed sites will boost SERP.Article submission is a good way of getting a very good links from sites like ezinearticle or hubpages.
