I'm still not sure why I started blogging. One night, inspired by so many great bloggers out on the web, I suddenly thought "Hey, I might like this!". The next day I started my blog and before I knew it, here I am. I have been blogging for a month now without really realizing it. I guess my main motivation for now is a strong sense to share my thoughts and opinions with the world (no one I know though).

Very good question.. I personally blog about film reviews to inform those out there of new and upcoming films or just about my favourite films.. I am a huge film fan and hoping to go to Uni studying film. I wish to share the love of film or dislike of films out there for the world to see.. Aside from earning money on blogging, you can also practice your writing skills and improve it. You will learn techniques how to write a good contents. It's a good way of spending you time on this. Worth it.

I started blogging because I have a real passion for trading and the markets, it's not often I can discuss this with friends or family. Trading is risky as every one knows, I wouldn't want a family member or friends to ruin their finances because they are trying to follow me. On my blog, I have connected with many other traders and I am able to share my experience with others doing the same thing as me. In the last post on ProBlogger Kevin talked about starting a blog based upon one of your hobbies as a great way to start blogging. As I mentioned in the introduction to that post – Kevin had really described much of my own motivations for starting my photography blog (and that of many many other successful blogs). While I did see an opportunity for profit in that blog when I started it – my main motivation for kicking it off was to share what I was learning about photography and to see if I could draw others with a similar interest together to learn from one another. For me I always wanted to see if I could make some money from that blog – but early on it wasn’t the biggest motivation. Over the years as the blog has grown and become more profitable I suspect my motivations have changed a little – I’m still interested in the topic – but it’s certainly more of a focus to make it profitable.
