this is my blog http://likeweb.blogspot.comi have in it three different set of topics that i post on. Gamming, internet and technology. I post about any of these topics randomly. Is it a good idea to have 3 different topics in one blog??

Is it a good idea to have 3 different topics in one blog??
I think there is no problem with having different topics on the same blog. My blog at geniuzs.blogspot.com has many categories like Home Income, Tips and Tricks, Mods, Tweaks, Security. I am more interested in writing out the content rather than the ads payment. There are always other methods to earn and make money. What I need is visitors and a better page rank.

I see no problem with that. I have more than three topics on my blog and I've not had a problem with search engine traffic or pagerank. I have been blogging for about six months now and just made a pagerank of 2. If anything, I think having multiple topics gives you an advantage with SEO because you have more keywords that can be searched. Also, having a little something for everyone will appeal to a larger audience. I found the real problem with having many topics (actually for me) is you sometimes get confused what to post about! I post on any topic that i feel excitement at the time and i go on posting only about the one topic sometimes whole month. This might cause in to viewers of another topic get bored. Thoughfuly having different topics in one blog is a good idea only if you can cover all those in your posts in time!

I found the real problem with having many topics (actually for me) is you sometimes get confused what to post about! I post on any topic that i feel excitement at the time and i go on posting only about the one topic sometimes whole month. This might cause in to viewers of another topic get bored.

Currently am running a series of posts to create website using Google Sites. thanks However i only post about 4-5 posts a month, doing someway like you say is not a bad idea. Thanks. your posts are good. i also do have some series in my blog.

asia / society
photography
internet
usually I post randomly...
probably can generate confusion but it is also more interesting and i will get bored to post only about 1 topic

Well for seo purposes it might be good to have one particular niche. But if you keep building content, it's won't be bad.
