If your blog is of QUALITY, it will last

Hello bloggerforum world!

Lately I have been reading lots of comments of dissatisfaction of new bloggers coming in and being all about adsense, AKA all about profit, as opposed to integrity of the blog.

I myself am new to blogging and my blog is 100% about quality content.  I have completely original articles that I spend my time to make as thought-provoking and unique as possible.

Good for you - you have already worked out what so many other fail to spot. Blogging is about the content - if its great, original, useful and interesting then people will read it. They will tell their friends, they will post links for your blog on their blog. Write a great blog and the promotion happens naturally.

Too many people are blogging trying to make money, most of them are bound to fail as they focus all of their efforts on trying to make money rather than creating a great blog.

I would just like to add that I dont practice what I preach - my blog isn't anything special, but I enjoy doing it and around 50% of my content is original and written by me.

That's quite logical, the content is thing number one in each blog, then the design comes and everything.But of couse people are seeking for interesting information, that's why they use blogs for this purpose

When I first started blogging I didn't even put ads on my blog.  Content is definitely important.
 As they say: Build it and they will come.

Just want to gather your opinion, how frequent do you update? Daily, Fornightly, Weekly, Biweekly?
Do you make it a habit to update regularl?

I post everyday except I missed one yesterday because I am so busy with somethign else.  Might miss one more too but will be right back after that.
